INDONESIA

A trade association has urged growers to ensure that green gram exported to China has no pesticide residue, as Chinese authorities have strict regulations. Myanmar has exported 126,792 metric tonnes of green gram to China this year.

The government is calling developers to submit proposals for the construction of an agro-based textile industrial complex on 105 hectares of land. Phase 1 includes training schools, an industrial meeting hall, a product display room and laboratories.
