1. FREEPORT RECOVERS TWO BODIES, CONTINUES SEARCH AT GRASBERG MINE -- JAKARTA GLOBE

Freeport Indonesia on Saturday has recovered two bodies from a mudslide that struck its Grasberg Block Cave mine in Tembagapura, Mimika regency on Sept 8, as rescue teams continue searching for the remaining trapped workers.

 

2. INDONESIA TO EVALUATE FREE MEAL PROGRAMME OVER FOOD POISONING -- ANTARA

Indonesia's Presidential Staff Office has called for a comprehensive evaluation of the Free Nutritious Meals programme after a series of student food poisoning incidents across several regions.

Myanmar's traditional Chinlone or cane ball sport will be submitted to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation next year. Data are being compiled to show Chinlone’s history dates back to the fifth and seventh centuries.
