Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith has urged the newly elected Vientiane Party Committee to work towards the party’s guidelines. He also wants to transform Vientiane into a liveable, sustainable, and modern city.
2. TACKLING WATER LOSS WITH JAPANESE SKILLS -- VIENTIANE TIMES
Laos and Japanese engineers are collaborating to reduce water loss during distribution in the capital, Vientiane. The average water loss was estimated at 24 per cent in the first eight months of this year.
