Resilient Asia 2025 Expo And Forum Postponed - NADMA
PUTRAJAYA, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- The Resilient Asia 2025 Exposition and Forum, organised by the National Disaster Management Agency and originally scheduled to be held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) from Oct 24-26, has been postponed to a date to be announced later.
NADMA director-general Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah said the postponement is due to the government’s decision to implement traffic diversions in the federal capital in conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit from Oct 23-28.
"NADMA hopes that all parties involved in organising this programme can take the necessary action,” he said in a statement today.
Seeing how the programme is beneficial to strengthening the collaboration network and expanding innovation in the country's disaster management system at the regional level, he said that NADMA will announce the new dates for the exposition and forum soon.
Previously, the media reported that a total of six major highways and 25 major roads across the Klang Valley will be gradually diverted in conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit 2025, which is set to take place from Oct 26 to 28.
