Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Ministry (KUSKOP) secretary-general Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the success of the event underscored the capability of Malaysian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to penetrate international markets and play a key role in regional economic growth.

“In addition, 19 SMEs presented their business potential to private equity firms, venture capital providers and peer-to-peer financing platforms through the Pitch2Go funding presentation session, which secured RM70 million in financing and investment,” he told reporters after closing the event.

Recognised by the ASEAN Records as the Largest ASEAN SME Trade Event 2025, the three-day programme, held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) here, attracted 13,850 visitors and drew the participation of 364 SMEs as well as 60 local and international buyers.
