Palestinian Embassy Congratulates Malaysia On Successful ASEAN Summit

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 (Bernama) – The Embassy of Palestine in Malaysia has congratulated Malaysia on its outstanding success in hosting the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, which concluded today.
The embassy, in a statement today, said Malaysia's inspiring ASEAN Chairmanship 2025 has left a transformative mark regionally, across the Islamic world, and internationally.
“Malaysia's steadfast and principled positions on regional and global matters, coupled with its inclusive and forward-looking diplomacy, have elevated ASEAN's global standing and strengthened multilateral collaboration.
“This milestone underscores Malaysia's distinguished leadership and exceptional vision in steering regional and international affairs with wisdom, innovation, and foresight, further reinforcing ASEAN's unity and advancing collective cooperation towards a future of prosperity and shared progress,” it said.
It also commended Malaysia for placing the Palestinian cause at the heart of its ASEAN agenda, demonstrating the country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent, sovereign State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The three-day high-level regional meeting, held under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2025, was attended by more than 3,000 delegates, including prominent leaders from over 30 countries and international organisations.
