1. WOMEN DRIVING SUSTAINABLE GROWTH -- AGENCE KAMPUCHEA PRESSE 

The Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Day 2025 highlighted women entrepreneurs' role in driving sustainable and inclusive growth.  About 300 women attended the event themed “From Vision to Action: Women Entrepreneurs Drive a Greener Future.”

 

2. CAMBODIA-IRAN EMBARK ON TOURISM PROMOTION -- AGENCE KAMPUCHEA PRESSE 

Cambodia and Iran have agreed to promote bilateral tourism by signing an agreement on the sidelines of the 26th General Assembly of the United Nations Tourism. Cambodia aims to attract more Iranian tourists to the country.

The Indonesian government and its sovereign wealth fund Danantara will share the financial burden in restructuring the debt of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project, known as Whoosh, as part of efforts to ensure the project’s long-term sustainability, an executive said on Tuesday.

1.ADOPTING INDIAN DIGITAL IDENTITY SYSTEM -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR 

Myanmar and India inked an agreement to collaborate on the digital identity pilot project. It will include technical assistance and the integration of Myanmar’s current identity system with India’s Modular Open Source Identity Platform.

 

2.VIDEOS TO PROMOTE ELECTION AWARENESS -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

Local filmmakers, including directors and artistes from Yangon’s film industry, are producing videos to promote awareness of the election on December 28. The project is to inform voters the importance of democratic elections.

Despite the typhoon season, tourist arrivals reached 1.73 million in October nationwide. January to October arrivals hit nearly 17.2 million. Tourists from China, Russia and India are fuelling the growth.
