CAMBODIA

1. OVER 1,000 DISPLACED PEOPLE TAKING REFUGE -- FRESH NEWS 

About 1,250 displaced families from Prey Chan and Chouk Chey villages are taking refuge in a monastery area in Banteay Meanchey province. The government vowed to protect its citizens and prevent any armed conflict. 

 

2. KOREAN SUPPORT HELPS TACKLE CYBER CRIME -- FRESH NEWS 

The Cambodia–Korea Joint Task Force has been instrumental in combating cyber crimes. Cambodia assured it will eradicate all forms of transnational crime, including online scams and other cybercrime threatening public security.

1. UPGRADING LUANG PRABANG AIRPORT -- VIENTIANE TIMES 

Three bidders from China, South Korea and Türkiye are bidding to upgrade the Luang Prabang International Airport under a public-private partnership model. The 30-year project will enhance the airport’s capacity and service standards.
