Cambodia’s industrial sector registered a strong growth last year. Over 3,000 large-scale factories were operating with a workforce of more than 1.3 million workers. Women in the workforce exceeded 71 per cent.

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said on Tuesday he agreed with Deputy Speaker of Parliament Sufmi Dasco Ahmad to postpone a plan to import 105,000 pickup trucks from India for the Merah Putih Village Cooperative program.
