Indonesia has sufficient stocks of diesel fuel and remains safe from potential disruptions to global supplies, as the country stopped importing the fuel type in early 2026, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia said.

Authorities are carrying out relief operations after a hailstorm caused widespread damage in Sikhottabong and Naxaithong districts on Sunday, affecting about 5,000 houses and buildings. Schools, temples, health facilities and government buildings were damaged.
