INDONESIA 

1. MEDICINE PRICES REMAIN WITHIN REASONABLE LIMITS: HEALTH MINISTRY -- ANTARA

The Indonesian Ministry of Health has assured the public that any increase in medicine prices due to rupiah volatility and higher oil prices will remain within reasonable limits.

 

2. INDONESIA TAPS BRAZIL FOR SEMICONDUCTOR, AEROSPACE EXPERTISE -- JAKARTA POST

Indonesia and Brazil are exploring cooperation in semiconductors, aerospace engineering and biofuels, with talks centred on partnerships between Indonesian universities and Brazil's State University of Campinas (Unicamp).

 

MYANMAR

1. HIGH EXPORTS TO FUEL ECONOMIC GROWTH -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The Myanmar Trade Promotion Organisation aims to achieve US$29 billion (RM118 billion) in foreign trade by March 2027. Exports is tipped to reach US$15.3 billion (RM62 billion) during the same period.

 

2. TREE GROWING TO RAISE FOREST COVER -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The government will plant 21.36 million trees on more than 30,000 acres across the country during this monsoon season to raise forest cover. It is aiming to reach 50 per cent of the green canopy.
