The American leader was obviously taken in by Malaysia’s warm hospitality when he was entertained by the performers to the tune of a zapin melody to welcome him at the tarmac.

Unable to hide his excitement, Trump then started to join the dancers with his signature dance groove, who then was briefly joined by Anwar, which added to the excitement of the President’s first-ever and historic visit to Malaysia.

This delighted the hundreds of dignitaries and officials present at the airport tarmac.

He borrowed the Malaysian flag (the Jalur Gemilang) and the American flag from one of the performers before joining the group to wave both flags.

The cheerful vibes were clearly evident as hundreds of guests including Foreign Minister Datuk Mohamad Hasan greeted the American leader, which obviously set off positive momentum ahead of serious discussions at the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.

The President had arrived at 9.54 am on Air Force One which was earlier escorted by a Royal Malaysian Air Force FA 18 Hornet fighter jet.

Trump together with Anwar then walked to the President’s official vehicle known as “The Beast.”

The car was flown in from the United States specifically to transport the President during his visit.

Both leaders proceeded to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) to attend the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits which will be held from today till Oct 28.

It is believed that more than 50 vehicles accompanied the Presidential convoy to the Malaysian capital.
