CAMBODIA

 

1. DIPLOMATS BRIEFED ON ANTI-CYBERCRIME DRIVE -- AGENCE KAMPUCHEA PRESSE 

The Commission for Combating Online Scams briefed representatives from 26 embassies and the European Union on its efforts to eradicate cybercrime. Cambodia has launched a nationwide "zero-tolerance" campaign against transnational digital fraud.

 

2 . FRANCOPHONIE SUMMIT MOVES TO CAPITAL -- AGENCE KAMPUCHEA PRESSE 

Phnom Penh will host the 20th Francophonie Summit in November this year, shifting from its initial venue in Siem Reap. The summit is the highest decision-making authority within the French-speaking nations.

1. INDONESIA STUDIES DENMARK'S MODEL TO UPGRADE ANIMAL FEED SAFETY -- ANTARA

Indonesia's Ministry of Agriculture collaborated with the government of Denmark to strengthen national quality and safety assurance systems for animal feed, aiming to support farmers and boost the competitiveness of the country's livestock products.

 

2. INDONESIA-SAUDI ARABIA ESTABLISH PARTNERSHIP FOR HALAL PRODUCT ASSURANCE -- ANTARA

Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have established a strategic partnership to strengthen the halal product quality and assurance system through the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) and the Saudi Halal Centre.

 

MYANMAR 

 

1. LUBRICANT EXPORTERS EYE FOREIGN MARKETS -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR 

Steps are initiated to obtain international certification for engine oil and lubricants manufactured in the Hlinethaya Industrial Zone and Thilawa Special Economic Zone. The certification will help exporters enter international markets.

 

2. MORE GREEN COVER, WILDLIFE PROTECTION -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR 

Authorities plan to increase nationwide forest cover to 50 per cent and also improve tiger and other rare wildlife conservation programmes. These initiatives will be given priority in the  Htamanthi Wildlife Sanctuary in Sagaing Region.

1. BTR'S 10-YEAR FXTN RATE STOOD AT 5.893 PCT -- PHILIPPINE NEWS AGENCY (PNA)

The average rate of the 10-year fixed-rate treasury note (FXTN) auctioned by the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) on Wednesday stood at 5.893 per cent.

 

2. 4TH IMPEACHMENT COMPLAINT VS VICE PRESIDENT SARA FILED -- PHILIPPINE NEWS AGENCY (PNA)

 A fourth impeachment complaint was filed Wednesday in the House of Representatives against Vice President Sara Duterte, centring on allegations that she failed to fully disclose assets in her Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALNs) and may have amassed unexplained wealth disproportionate to her lawful income.
