Indonesia and Malaysia have agreed to strengthen cross-border trade through Entikong in Sanggau District, West Kalimantan, and Tebedu in Malaysia’s Sarawak, which share a land border.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has proposed doubling the trade value between Indonesia and Russia through the Indonesia-Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement (I-EAEU FTA).

More than 900,000 pearls were produced between April and August 2026 in 13 pearl-culturing locations. Myanmar produces the South Sea pearl. Each pearl farm produces about 100,000 pearls per production cycle.
