1.INDONESIA DISTRIBUTES 7.7 MLN TONS OF RICE RESERVES IN 2023-2025 -- ANTARA

 Indonesia distributed 7.75 million metric tons of government rice reserves between 2023 and 2025 to stabilize food supplies and prices while strengthening national food security, the National Food Agency said on Saturday.  

2.INDONESIA MOTOGP DELIVERS US$278 MILLION ECONOMIC BOOST: OFFICIAL -- ANTARA

Indonesia MotoGP in Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara, generated an economic impact of Rp4.96 trillion (around US$278 million) in 2025, according to Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs.

1.BIRDING TOURS TO GENERATE INCOME -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

A birdwatching project has been launched in the Kyonkapyin-Tapsee Wildlife Conservation Area in Ayeyarwady Region to support the local community to earn additional income. Local guides will promote the existing bird species to tourists.

 

2.FARMERS-TO-FOOD PRODUCERS LINKAGES -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The Myanmar Fruit Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association is creating market linkages between farmers in rural areas and food producers. They are focusing on seasonal monsoon crops to assist the farming community.

1.24 FILIPINOS DETAINED IN RUSSIA BACK IN PHILIPPINES AFTER MARCOS-PUTIN TALKS-- PHILIPPINE NEWS AGENCY

The 24 Filipinos who had been detained in Russia for about nine months arrived safely in the Philippines early Sunday, after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally raised their case with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a bilateral meeting in Kazan.

 

2.MARCOS ADDS 3 BLN PHP TO WEST ASIA  REPATRIATION, REINTEGRATION FUND -- PHILIPPINE NEWS AGENCY  President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the release of an additional Philippine Peso (PHP) 3 billion to boost the Department of Migrant Workers’ (DMW) repatriation and reintegration programme for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) displaced by the West Asia  conflict.
